We visited the 17-Miles on a weekend in July and it was a perfect

wasn't very crowded with cars; we took our own time to enjoy at every spot. Since,
we were a group of two families, we planned a small picnic at a designated
point with some delicious home bought food and spectacular view (there are restaurants/eataries available at the site as well). There
are ample spots for fishing, picnics, or just enjoying the beauty of the
scenery.
